Classic Series Vacuums Solenoid Test and Repair
When the motor is turned on the solenoid valve opens and allows water to flow into the pump.
Solenoid Test
When testing components with power on use care to prevent electrical shock.

1.Shut pump off.
2.Place cup under tube/housing connection.
3.Disconnect tube at housing.
4.Push blue quick connect toward fitting and pull hose out.
If water is flowing out, solenoid is stuck open and will need replaced.

3.Push blue quick connect toward fitting and pull hose out.
4.Shut pump on and off to see if water is flowing out.
If water is flowing out, check voltage.

1.Turn power off.
2.Remove electrical cover. Refer to: Electrical Cover
3.Turn power on.
4.Check Voltage on Coil. Set meter to V. Place meter probes on two coil connections.
