PowerVac G Separator Tank Test and Repair

Rinsing Separator Tank Assembly

When working on Twin units, unplug parallel harness.

1.Turn On / Off switch to “Off” position.

2.Earlier units require removal of the analog vacuum gauge from separator lid and temporarily replacing it with a garden hose adapter. Current units require removal of garden hose plug to washout the separator tank walls. The garden hose adapter can also be placed in bulkhead next to the outlet to washout the demister filter.

3.Attach garden hose adapter to appropriate location.

4.Run water through garden hose for approximately five (5) minutes.

5.Turn water off, disconnect hose, depending on the age of your vacuum lid either remove garden hose adapter and reinstall vacuum gauge, reinstall garden hose adapter plug. The most recent lids will need the plug replaced if removed from bulkhead near center of lid.

On units with a gauge the garden hose adapter was supplied as a loose part when it was purchased.
