Midmark® Smart Air Compressor Intake Filters Test and Repair

Atmospheric air is drawn in through intake filters before flowing to the compressor heads. Intake filter protect the heads from dust and debris and should be changed annually.

PowerAir Intake Filters

1.Rotate and remove End Cap from filter housing.

2.Remove filter and clean with a nonflammable solvent. Wipe out housing and allow filter and housing to dry.

3.Install filter back into housing.

4.Rotate End Cap to secure.

PowerAir Intake Filters

1.Firmly grab black boot, twist, rock and pull outward.

2.Remove filter from boot.

3.Blow off dust and dirt with a compressor.

4.Push boot flange evenly onto filter.

5.Reinstall boot in compressors head and firmly press around boot flange to secure in place.
