To isolate a foot control malfunction, check continuity of each switch within foot control.

1.Disconnect wire harness from J6 on Motor Control PC board.

2.Set meter to Ohms.

3.Place one meter probe on Black wire (Common) of wire harness. Place other meter probe on the wire that corresponds to the switch being tested.

1.Disconnect control cord from foot control and chair base.

2.Set meter to Ohms.

3.Place meter probes on each wire within the control cord.
