To isolate a malfunction, check continuity of each wire within foot control cord.

1.Disconnect control cord from foot control and chair base.

2.Set meter to Ohms.

3.Place meter probes on each wire within the control cord.

Meter Reading	Required Action
Any resistance reading less than 20 Ohms	Control cord is good.
OL	Replace control cord.
