Ultra Chair Fuses on the PC Board Test and Repair
Replacement
Unplug chair power cord before removing covers or working on chair. Failure to comply could result in personal injury.
1.Unplug chair power cord.
2.Rotate seat toward patient’s left side.
3.Remove hydraulic cover, see Covers.
Before working on or handling printed circuit boards take precautions to prevent any static discharge that would damage board components.
PC Board Fuses
4.Remove fuse(s), Item 1, from the PC board, Item 2.
5.Place fuse(s), Item 1, on a non-conductive material and check fuse(s):
6.Place VOM (3) on Resistance (R x 1) scale.
7.Place meter leads, Item 4, on each end of fuse.
8.Meter should read “0” ohms. If meter reads OL or other than O replace fuse.
Replace fuse(s) with same rating only or damage to the PC board and chair could occur. Refer to: Wiring Diagrams for fuse specifications.
9.Install hydraulic cover.
10.Plug chair into outlet and check operation.
