To check polarity, verify + on the LED ring and the handpiece are the same side.

To test continuity set meter to Ω and check connections.

•PIN 1 is wired to Black wire of Molex Plug. (Ultrasound Signal)

•PIN 2 is wired to White wire of Molex Plug. (LED Power)

•PIN 3 is wired to Blue wire of Molex Plug. (LED Power)

•PIN 4 is wired to Orange wire of Molex Plug. (Ultrasound Signal)

To test in the tubing connection, set meter to V. With no LED in socket, voltage reading will be approximately 21 VDC. With LED inserted, voltage reading will be approximately 12 or 14 VDC measured at pins on the blue and white wire on Molex plug.
