1.Set meter to Ω.
2.Check orange wire of Molex to the center pin of tubing.
3.Check right side (as shown) pin of tubing to the black wire in Molex.

Only check for HI resistance if scaler is experiencing intermittent or low power.
1.Set ohmmeter for 20 MEG OHM scale if using a manual setting meter or just “OHMS” if auto ranging meter.
2.Disconnect handpiece from tubing.
3.Disconnect Molex from module.
4.Without touching probe leads with fingers, place the meter leads across the orange and black wires in Molex. There should be an Open Circuit reading. Any reading other than this indicates a HI Resistance short in tubing and needs to be replaced.
