Midmark® 1000 Water System Test and Repair

The self-contained water system has two one-liter bottles located on the front panel under the instruments. It is recommended to use only distilled water in the bottles. The water bottles supply water to the instruments that use water and to the quick disconnect on the back of the cart. Air flows through the water regulator to pressurize the water bottles. The water regulator is located between the water bottles and is set at 40 PSI. Use the water needle valve to adjust water flow for each instrument.

There is a toggle valve between the water bottles, which controls which water bottle will supply water. When the toggle is in the center neither water bottles is pressurized. Move the toggle toward the left to pressurize the left bottle and depressurize the right bottle. Toggle to the right to pressurize the right bottle and depressurize the left bottle.
