255 Light Ball Pivot Tension Adjustment / Cross Tube Counterbalance Adjustment Test and Repair
Adjust ball pivot tension
1.Remove screw, then slide sleeve down.
2.Insert screwdriver into adjustment hole.
3.Move the screwdriver left/right to adjust tension setting. Left decreases tension / Right increases tension.
4.Remove screwdriver, and check for desired tension. Repeat until desired tension is achieved.
5.Slide ball pivot sleeve up, then install screw.
Adjust cross tube counterbalance
Turning the adjustment screw clockwise will lower the lighthead. Turning the adjustment screw counterclockwise will raise the lighthead.
1.Release tension.
2.Remove cap from counterbalance.
3.Loosen / tighten the adjustment screw until the cross tube balances in horizontal position.
4.Install cap onto counterbalance.
5.Set tension.
