Filling Mode
The valve is energized open so that water can flow into the chamber.
Heating Mode
Periodically, during the Heating Mode, the air valve energizes open.
•Wrapped 1 and Wrapped 2
Air valve will initially be energized open until the chamber temperature reaches 87.8 °C (190 °F). Once closed, the air valve will open four times throughout the Heating mode to expel air from the chamber.
•Unwrapped and Delicate
Air valve will initially be closed. The air valve will open three times throughout the Heating mode to expel air from the chamber.
Sterilizing Mode
The air valve is not energized. The valve is closed.
Venting/Drying Mode
The air valve is energized open (vent valve is also open) so that steam and water are released from the chamber to the condensing coil in the reservoir.
