M9/M11 Steam Sterilizer Air Valve Testing

For proper test point readings, meter leads need to penetrate PC board conformal coating.
For proper voltage readings, the circuit must be connected (loaded) to the component—such as a solenoid valve you are checking.

1.Set meter to VDC.

2.On PC board, place meter probes on TP108 and TP127 (as shown in the figure above) and check reading.

3.Energize the air valve and check reading.
LED D11 should light up.

Line voltage 115 V model = approximately 108 VDC

Line voltage 230 V model = approximately 216 VDC

PC board is OK. Perform Continuity Test.

Replace PC board.

Not Energized

Approximately 0 VDC

M9/M11 Steam Sterilizer Air Valve Testing

1.Set meter to Ohms (Ω).

2.Disconnect wires from valve.

3.Place meter probes on valve terminals.
