Midmark M9® -05x / M11® -05x Sterilizer Heating Element Location Test and Repair
To prevent risk of shock always disconnect power before removing covers or performing any service procedure.
Some procedures require power to be connected with covers removed. Line voltage is present. Use extreme caution to prevent electric shock.
Sterilizer or components may be hot or become hot. Wait until the sterilizer or components are cool to the touch before continuing service.

Filling/Venting Mode
The heating element is OFF.
Heating Mode
The heating element heats the water in the chamber until sterilization temperature is achieved.
Sterilizing Mode
Based on the readings from the temperature and pressure sensors, the heating element is cycled ON/OFF to maintain the required parameters for the selected cycle.
Drying Mode
The heating element at preset intervals turns ON/OFF. This continues for the duration of the Drying mode.
