Midmark M9® -05x / M11® -05x Sterilizer Temperature Sensor Location Test and Repair
To prevent risk of shock always disconnect power before removing covers or performing any service procedure.
Some procedures require power to be connected with covers removed. Line voltage is present. Use extreme caution to prevent electric shock.
Sterilizer or components may be hot or become hot. Wait until the sterilizer or components are cool to the touch before continuing service.

Filling Mode
Not monitored.
Heating/Sterilizing Mode
Continually monitors the chamber temperature and transmits this information to the PC board.
The PC board turns the heating element ON/OFF based on the readings from the temperature sensor.
Venting Mode
Continually monitors the chamber temperature and transmits this information to the PC board.
Drying Mode
Continually monitors the chamber temperature and transmits this information to the PC board.
If the temperature exceeds 240 °F (115 °C), the PC board stops the current flow to the heating element until the temperature drops.
