Midmark M9® -05x / M11® -05x Sterilizer Temperature Sensor Test and Repair
To prevent risk of shock always disconnect power before removing covers or performing any service procedure.

Some procedures require power to be connected with covers removed. Line voltage is present. Use extreme caution to prevent electric shock.
There will be an error condition generated when the temperature sensor is unplugged resulting in the alarm on the board coming on.
Voltage Test
1.Disconnect sensor harness from J6 on PC board.
2.Set meter to VDC.
3.Place meter probes on points and check reading.

Replace PC board. |

Sterilizer or components may be hot or become hot. Wait until the sterilizer or components are cool to the touch before continuing service.
Resistance Test
1.Allow sensor to cool to room temperature before testing.
2.Disconnect sensor harness from J6 on PC board.
3.Set meter to k Ohms (Ω).
4.Place meter probes on red and white sensor wires (as shown in the figure above).
