Upholstery Heater PC Board, Output Voltage Test
1.Disconnect leads to upholstery heater.
2.Set meter to VAC.
3.Place meter probes on leads from upholstery heater PC Board.
4.Press Upholstery, green, Heater switch ON.

Upholstery Heater PC Board, Supply Voltage Test
For clarity, the illustration shows only the wires being tested.
1.Remove stirrup guide. Refer to:Stirrup Guide Access Procedures
2.Disconnect blue and brown wires from upholstery PC board.
3.Set meter to read VAC.
4.Place probes on blue and brown wires.
Supply Voltage Test Readings:
If reading is approximately 120 VAC, check wire connections and the F1 / F2 fuses on upholstery PC board.
If reading is 0 VAC, check connections from upholstery PC board to supply source.
Upholstery Heater Resistance Test
1.Disconnect leads to upholstery heater.
2.Set meter to 200 Ω.
3.Place meter probes on leads from upholstery heater.
Resistance Test Readings:
If reading is approximately 0 Ω, replace upholstered top.
If reading is approximately 3 - 4 Ω, check the heater switch and replace switch if necessary.
Upholstery PC Board Replacement
Removal
1.Remove stirrup guide. Refer to:Stirrup Guide Access Procedures
2.Tag and disconnect all wiring from upholstery PC board.
3.Push standoffs back and remove PC board.
Installation
1.Push board down onto standoffs until they lock board into place.
2.Reconnect all wiring to upholstery PC board
Heater Switch Replacement
For clarity, the illustration shows only the wire harness involved in this replacement.
Removal
1.Remove stirrup guide. Refer to:Stirrup Guide Access Procedures.
2.Disconnect two white, and two black heater switch wires from upholstery PC board harness.
3.Remove top drawer, foot-end. Separate switch housing. Remove upholstery heater switch.
Installation
1.Install drawer heater switch. Secure switch housing w/ two screws. Install top drawer.
2.Connect two white heater switch wires to heater plate wires. Connect blue and black heater switch wires to Distribution board wires.
