QuickClean™ Ultrasonic Cleaners IGBT Test and Repair

WARNING

To prevent risk of shock always disconnect power before removing covers or performing any service procedure.

To Test IGBTs

1.Turn power off, unplug, and drain water from tank.

2.Turn unit upside down and remove bottom plate. Refer to: Access Procedures

3.Set meter to Diode Symbol

4.Place the black meter lead on the center leg of the IGBT and the red lead on one of the side legs then the other.

5.Each measurement should be between 350 - 700.

Meter Reading Required Action

Between 350 - 700

Reading of between 350-700 for both tests, the IGBT is good.

A reading outside of 350 - 700

Reading outside of 350-700 for either test, the IGBT is bad and needs replaced.
