QuickClean™ Ultrasonic Cleaners Insulation Resistance Test and Repair
To prevent risk of shock always disconnect power before removing covers or performing any service procedure.
To prevent electrical shock, fire, or personal injury, do not touch the QuickClean™ Ultrasonic Cleaner during testing and make sure the test has been completed before disconnecting.
Only perform Insulation Resistance Test after performing and passing the Ground Continuity Test.
An Insulation Resistance Tester is required to perform this test. Refer to insulation resistance tester instructions for specific operation and testing procedure.
To Perform Insulation Resistance Test
1.Turn power off and unplug main power socket at the rear of the unit.
2.Connect large test lead to both the hot and neutral pin and connect the other test lead to the ground pin as shown.
3.Push the power switch to the on position on the QuickClean™ Ultrasonic Cleaner.
4.Set Insulation resistance meter to 500V and run insulation test.

Insulation is bad. Verify that cords and wiring are undamaged, routed, and connected properly then test unit again. If unit continues to fail, contact Midmark’s Technical Service. |
