641 Chair Base Shrouds Test and Repair
Raising w/ bungee cord
1.Remove bottom screws from inner shrouds.
2.Stretch bungee cord across top of base column - under seat.
It may be necessary to run Tilt Up function to route bungee cord under seat section.
3.Lift shrouds, then attach bungee cord hooks under shrouds on both sides.

Lowering / Removal
1.Remove magnetic cladding - 3 pcs.
Lower the base before performing Step 2. This will prevent the shrouds from falling when the outer shrouds are removed.
2.Remove screws from outer shrouds only. Pull shrouds outward to disengage tabs.
The middle and inner shrouds sets are different sizes. Be sure to keep the sets together.
3.Remove screws from inner and middle shrouds.
Installation
1.Position inner shrouds, then secure with screws. Repeat for middle shrouds
Be sure shroud tabs stack on top of each other.
2.Position outer shrouds. Secure with screws at both ends.
Insert shroud tabs into seat weldment slots.
3.Install magnetic cladding.
