PowerVac G Low Voltage Test and Repair

Caution

When testing components with power on, use care to prevent electrical shock.

When working on Twin units, unplug parallel harness.

1.Turn power off at on/off switch and main power supply box.

2.Remove electrical cover. Refer to: Electrical Cover

3.Turn power on.

4.Check input voltage as shown on daughter card.

5.Check at J2, pin 6 and as shown above on daughter card.

This tests for low voltage across K1 relay. If the voltage is too low, the relay may not energize.

24 VAC +4/-2

Actual transformer voltage. If out of range, check contactor and transformer.

J3 and J2

> 18.5 VAC

If less than 18.5 VAC, there may be too much wire between unit and Master control Panel. If length can not be changed, reduce gauge of wire to 14 gauge.
