PowerVac G Low Voltage Test and Repair
When testing components with power on, use care to prevent electrical shock.
When working on Twin units, unplug parallel harness.
1.Turn power off at on/off switch and main power supply box.
2.Remove electrical cover. Refer to: Electrical Cover
3.Turn power on.
4.Check input voltage as shown on daughter card.
5.Check at J2, pin 6 and as shown above on daughter card.
This tests for low voltage across K1 relay. If the voltage is too low, the relay may not energize.

24 VAC +4/-2 |
Actual transformer voltage. If out of range, check contactor and transformer. |
J3 and J2 |
> 18.5 VAC |
If less than 18.5 VAC, there may be too much wire between unit and Master control Panel. If length can not be changed, reduce gauge of wire to 14 gauge. |
