1.Remove foot extension covers. Refer to: Foot Extension Covers

2.Cut left hand cable tie securing wire harness to the foot extension weldment.

3.Using the tilt function, position chair so the foot section is in the horizontal position.

4.Remove one bottom screw from each side of foot extension weldment.

5.Unscrew three of the four top screws holding the foot extension weldment to the slide mounting brackets.

6.Support the foot extension weldment, then unscrew the fourth screw.

7.Pull up on release cable to release locking jaws, then rest foot extension weldment on foot extension housing.

8.Move the inner slide in or out to access and remove three screws from each slide mounting bracket.

9.From the bottom of the foot extension housing, move the inner slide in or out to access and remove three screws securing the slide assembly to the foot extension housing.

1.Attach new slide assembly to foot extension housing, then attach slide mounting brackets.

2.Pull up on release cable, position foot extension weldment in the foot extension housing. Be sure the locking jaws engage the foot lock plate.

3.Tighten four top screws and two bottom screws securing the foot extension weldment to the slide brackets.

4.Secure the wire harness with a nylon cable tie.

5.Install foot extension covers. Refer to: Foot Extension Covers
