Elevance® Delivery Water Controls Theory of Operation
Multiple control inputs affect handpiece water outputs for the Elevance Delivery systems. This chart relates how, in general, the setting of each water input control changes the water output at the delivery unit handpiece.
The Bien Air handpieces and Scalers have specific water behavior requirements controlled by the Integration Control Module® (ICM) under Normal operation.
Refer to: Bien Air and Scaler Water Controls for more details on the ICM control overrides that occur for the Bien Air handpieces in Endo mode and for all Scaler handpieces.
