M9/M11 Sterilizer Air Valve Test and Repair
Some procedures require power to be connected with covers removed. Line voltage is present. Use extreme caution to prevent electric shock.

Air Valve Supply Voltage Test
If you are testing the valve during a specific cycle mode (Fill Mode, Vent Mode, etc), steps 1 thru 3 are not required. Refer to Service Diagnostics section for steps 1 thru 3.
1.Activate the Service Diagnostics Mode.
2.Initiate the I/O Test.
3.Energize the air valve.
4.Disconnect wires from valve terminals.
5.Set meter to VAC
6.Place meter probes wires on J6 and J7 on PC board.

Air Valve Continuity Test
1.Disconnect wires from valve.
2.Set meter to M Ω
3.Place meter probes on valve terminals.

Air Valve Supply Voltage Test

1.Activate the Service Diagnostics Mode.
2.Initiate the I/O Test.
3.Disconnect wires from valve terminals.
4.Set meter to VAC
5.Place meter probes wires on J6 and J7 on PC board and check reading.
6.Energize the air valve and check reading. LED D17 should light up.
