PowerVac G Fan Test and Repair
230 VAC is supplied to the fans and are controlled by a thermostat. The fans are energized when the thermostat closes at temperatures exceeding 95°F (35°C). When the temperature of the thermostat drops below 77°F (25°C), the thermostat will open, shutting off the fans.
When working on Twin units, unplug parallel harness.
1.Turn power off at on/off switch and main power supply box.
2.Remove rear panel. Refer to: Back Cover
3.Set meter to Ω.
4.Unplug outside fan harness from base unit and fans.
5.Check continuity in fan harness (outside).
6.Unplug inside fan harness from plug on side of electrical box, contactor, and thermostat.
7.Check continuity in fan harness (inside). Refer to: Wire Diagrams
